Description

A complete Mindfulness toolkit for parents!
 
Bring movement, mindfulness, breath awareness and relaxation techniques into the lives your children (and yourself!) with this tried and tested, playful, fun and easy to use Mindfulness toolkit.
 
During the morning you will learn how to use the Mindful Moments cards with your family.
 
Together we will explore each card, its benefits and how to successfully deliver it to children or use for yourself.
 
Toolkit and resources covers children and young people aged 2 – 16.
 
Workshop includes
 
1 set of Mindful Moments cards 36 cards with 30 different activities and techniques.
 
5 guided visualisations suitable for relaxation and bedtime support.

About Mindful Moments Cards
Mindful Moments is something that has been slowly taking shape over the past 2 years, in response to working with schools and other settings who were looking at how it would be possible to incorporate movement, breathwork, meditation and mindfulness into the learning environment and children’s daily experience. The aim of these cards is to offer parents, educators and children some simple tools that will help everyone to find more balance in their day.
 
The cards offer tools that help quieten the mind and relax the body.
 
The cards are in 5 different sections with
 
MOVE CARDS – Use Move cards daily, to promote a healthy, strong and relaxed body.
 
BREATH CARD – Use Breathe cards daily, to promote a relaxed body, a balanced nervous system, a happy tummy and concentration.
 
REST CARDS -Use rest cards daily, to promote stillness, rest and reflection.
 
CONNECT CARDS – Use connect cards regularly, to promote a sense of wellbeing, belonging and community.
 
SENSE CARDS – Use Sense cards regularly, to promote mindfulness, awareness and focus.
 
Amelia currently shares this training at schools and other childcare settings and runs family workshops for Springboard (across Pembrokeshire)
 
She also teaches these games and techniques at Yoga Satsanga Ashram on the Children’s Yoga Teacher Training.
 
Please note this workshop is for Parents only, and not for the children to attend.
 
This workshop allows parents to use the resources with their family only, and cannot be used in the workplace without attending a Mindful Moments Educators workshop.
