About Amelia
Amelia lives on a farm with her husband and 3 children in West Wales, where they run an eco campsite.
Finding harmony and balance as a mother has been a driving force in her choice to share the work she does, Amelia hopes to share and support other mothers on their own journey.
Amelia has been working with children all her life, and enjoys sharing fun, playful yoga and mindfulness with children and families. She works closely with adults and parents, with a focus on wellbeing for adults, finding balance in life using yoga, mindfulness, breath-work and connecting with nature.
It was the journey of becoming a mother that led her to explore a more holistic way to engage with children. She is passionate about empowering children to feel connected with their breathe, bodies, thoughts and feelings, so that they have the tools to cope and thrive in today’s fast paced world!
Amelia works with an open heart, smiles, eye contact, encouragement and kindness. Her sessions are inclusive of everyone, playful and fun.
Amelia runs retreats, workshops and classes, she loves to be outdoors and connecting with nature and shares outdoor yoga and meditation classes and meditative walking sessions locally.
Over the past few years Amelia has been developing simple and easy to use Mindfulness and Relaxation resources for children. Her aim with these A6 cards is to empower parents and childcare practitioners, teachers and mental health practitioners with the tools needed to support children and young peoples physcal, mental and emotional health. Each card and activity have been tried and tested with children, These resources are also being used in many schools and other child and youth services in West Wales.
